    Bitumen roads can be repaired by Remove the debris and clean the damaged area Remove the surrounding area that is affected. Fill the hole with base material followed by bitumen This repair work should be finished with a tack coat Sprinkle some wet sand over it and compact with rollers or tampers.

    For In-Situ piles, we don't generally use vibrators because Vibration in such depths may alter the soil structure and may even cause collapse. Therefore the type of concrete used is self-compacting concrete. This concrete does not need external vibrations to compact.

    The plinth beam is provided at the plinth level of a structure, i.e, above the foundation. Tie beam can be provided at any height in the structure. The tie beam is provided to increase the stiffness of the columns and to avoid buckling.

    3. Now a corrugates steel shell is inserted again into the casing.
    4. The concrete is poured into the corrugated steel shell and simultaneously the outer casing is removed.
    5. If the outer casing is left inside, the structure would be even more safe but it is not economical.

    Stucco is used like any other plaster to cover the bricks or concrete surfaces and give an appealing and finished look.

    It is made up of OPC, fine aggregate and water. It is very common in India and goes by the name “Plaster“. The advantages of Stucco is that it is very durable and can be further strengthened by adding fibers into it.

    However in other countries, “Plaster” is made up of Gypsum or Lime instead of OPC. When cement is used as a binder it is called as “Stucco”.
