What is the difference between fe 500 and fe 500D rebars?
Himanshu joshi
The main difference between Fe500 and Fe500D is of ductility. Both are grades of steel and are High yield strength deformed bars. Here, 500 is the characteristic tensile strength of steel. See lessBoth are grades of steel and are High yield strength deformed bars.
Here, 500 is the characteristic tensile strength of steel.
Which is the same in both cases?
Now term D is ductility which is available in Fe500D and not available in Fe500.
So, Fe500D is important in a structure where there are chances of sudden or dynamic+ cyclic or reversible cyclic loading like an earthquake, so in this case, if our structure is durable+ ductile then it will not fail suddenly but will give warning.
This ductility means having more capacity to elongate before failure or rupture.
Ductility is achieved by decreasing carbon content in the steel.
What is the Incoherence soil canal?
Himanshu joshi
Incoherence soil is a type of soil that is loose granular graded soil. It can be easily transported, deposited, and scoured easily. This soil generally has little or negligible cohesive force.so it is incoherent.

What is Nappe Phenomena on Causeway?
Himanshu joshi
Nappe is a term generally defined for structure in which a sheet of water is flowing over it. Now, the causeway is one type of small bridge in which during rainy season rainwater passes over it, and this sheet of water flow is known as nappe.

See lessAbout 23% of water is required for a chemical reaction to take place, and 15% of water is required for gel formation. This formed cement gel is made up of calcium silicate and hydrate (c-s-H), which is important in strength property of cement paste.
So ultimately, the strength of cement gel is an important part of gaining strength and durability.
What is Bursting Reinforcement?

Soil reinforcement is generally carried out in a case where the soil is loose or soft and of low shear strength.
See lessThus, with the help of this technique, we can increase the engineering property of soil such as shear strength, bearing capacity, reduction in permeability, reduction in compressibility, etc.
There are various techniques for soil reinforcement such as by
– geotextiles
– soil nailing
– fiber reinforcement
So, with the help of soil reinforcement, we can make more durable, stable, and free from the settlement.
