    2. Login to the website
    3. You’ve to select platform of OS
    4. Then select AutoCAD which you want.
    5. You’ve to select 1) High School or 2) University
    6. Then you’ve to verify yourself.
    7. Upload your Student ID after filling your details.
    8. The team will verify your documentation.
    9. You’ll get a mail with steps to follow, eligible or not for student version.
    10. If eligible you’ll get 1yr licence from them to use free student version with access key you have to put while installing.
    11. Download the software from the site.

    Different parameters we should take into mind while doing a calculation of life span of structure, they are as follows;

    Building Construction Material:

    • Mostly influencing parameter.
    • Vary as per Building Construction Material.

    Weight of different ingredient of Mortar 1:3 - Here, I will give you a simple way to calculate the weight of different ingredients in a mortar. The mortar ratio is 1:3, it simply means that the 1 part of cement is present and 3 part of sand is present in that type of mortar. Consider, w/c ratio = 0.Read more

    Weight of different ingredient of Mortar 1:3 –

    Here, I will give you a simple way to calculate the weight of different ingredients in a mortar.


    • The mortar ratio is 1:3, it simply means that the 1 part of cement is present and 3 part of sand is present in that type of mortar.
    • Consider, w/c ratio = 0.4
    • We are doing all calculation for 1kg of mortar.

    1 part = 1/(0.4+1+3) = 0.227


    Water Required =0.25 x 0.227 = 0.056kg


    Cement= 0.2247 kg


    Sand =3.15 x0.227 = 0.717 kg

For a highway it depends on what kind, where, typical traffic, speed limits, etc.  Degree of curve is the angle between the radii of a curve of a 100 foot chord which is chord definition. Highway departments usually use Degree of Curve as the angle between the radii of a curve of an arc of 100 feet. For curves 3 degrees or under, the difference between the definitions staked on the ground is inconsequential.
