1. Algae/Mould
Algae/mould can be visible as grey, black, or brown patches on the surface of the paint as fungal or algal growth.

2. Bleeding
It is observed as spots or patches of discoloration in the top coat (often in red or yellow colours).

It is a formation of dome-shaped projections in paint or varnish films.

It is a formation of a white, chalky powder on the surface paint film.

The below painting defects we generally see on the field are:
1. Chalking
We can prevent it by not mixing undercoat with finishes.
2. Brush marks
We can prevent brush marks by applying paint at recommend viscosity and as possible as quick.
3. Sagging
We can prevent sagging by rolling the thick patches also and adequately by avoiding thinning of the paint.
