Waterproofing is most important to increase the life of the pavement. The following are some materials or admixtures used globally for waterproofing of cement concrete roads as well as bitumen pavement.
But to make the road pavement waterproofing ensure that the mix did properly and provide enough camber to remove water from the road surface. It is the cheapest and most economical method to make road pavement waterproof.

Generally, for cheap and on-site production of waterproofing, a combination of aggregate chippings and aggregate dust is combined with bitumen emulsion and is completely laid over the constructed road. The emulsion itself can vary in type.
