Built-up area= Carpet area. + Area covered by wall and balcony
Super built-up area= built up area + common areas like lift lobby staircase entrance lobby corridor etc.
Carpet area is the area covered by carpet means an area which is in daily use. It is the area from wall to wall.
These terms are used in real estate for the calculation of property per square metre.

Built-Up Area
Built-up area is the carpet area plus the area covered by walls. It includes balconies, terraces (with or without roof), mezzanine floors, and other detachable habitable areas such as servant rooms, etc. You should also know that walls which are shared with other units are factored in at 50 percent while other walls are computed fully.
Calculate Built-Up Area
built-up area = carpet area + areas covered by walls.
Super Built-Up Area
Super built-up area is the built-up area in addition to the proportionate share of entrance lobby, corridors, staircases, lift shafts, lift lobby, generator rooms, clubhouse, security room and any other common areas in the complex. However, water tanks, walkways, swimming pool, open sports facilities, weather sheds, inaccessible flower beds, lofts shall not include in super built-up area.
Calculating Super Built-Up Area
Since super built-up area factors in the common areas such as elevator, veranda, clubhouse, etc, developers consider 1.25 as a multiplying factor to calculate super built-up area. This increases the total saleable area by 25 percent. This percentage is called loading. Few developers tend to quote loading Figueres while computing the saleable area. For instance, if the carpet area is 600 sq ft, the builder adds loading of 30 percent, you have to pay for 780 sq ft, whereas you are using just 600 sq ft.

BUILT UP AREA :-
Built up Area is the carpet area plus the thickness of outer walls and the balcony.
SUPER BUILT UP AREA :-
Super Built Up Area is the built up area plus proportionate area of common areas such as the lobby, lifts shaft, stairs, etc. Sometimes it may also include the common areas such, swimming pool, garden, clubhouse, etc.

Built-up area and super built-up area is generally used in real-estate. It is used to calculate the cost of property per square feet or square meter.
The built-up area is the carpet area plus the thickness of the outer walls and the balcony. The Super built-up area is the built-up area plus a proportionate area of common areas such as the lobby, lifts shaft, stairs, etc. Sometimes it may also include the common areas such, swimming pool, garden, clubhouse, etc.
The carpet area is the covered area of the usable spaces of rooms in the building. It is measured between walls to walls within the building and is the sum of the actual areas of the rooms where you can carpet.
Now, when the total cost of construction of a building including the cost of land or plot, is lets say, USD 10,000 and its carpet area is 1000 sqft, built-up area is 1250 sqft and super built-up area is 1500 sqft, then the cost of the building per square feet can be calculated as:
Cost per sqft of carpet area = USD 100,000/1000 = USD 100
Cost per sqft of built-up area = USD 100,000/1250 = USD 80
Cost per sqft of super built-up area = USD 100,000/1250 = USD 66.67
In this way, you can arrive at the actual cost of construction per square feet including the cost of land or plot. This can also be used to calculate the selling cost of the property.

Built-up area = carpet area + wall and balcony area.
Super built-up area = built-up area + common area (area of lift and lobby).
Carpet is an area which we use in daily life.
The built-up area means an area which constructed up for a particular home or flat.
The Super built-up area means the whole construction area of the building includes lift, verandah, lobby, etc.
