Which type of chemical cleaner can be used for removal of efflorescence in masonry walls?

Moisture absorbed from the air by the alkaline salts in the bricks, when dries leaves powder form on the bricks. This effect is called efflorescence.
It’s also caused if the clay used for making bricks contain Pyrite and the water used for pugging the clay contain gypsum.
Vinegar (acetic acid) solution with water can be used for cleaning of efflorescence in the masonry wall. It’s less harmful and most likely already used in every household & economical.
CaSO4(gypsum) + 2CH3COOH (vinegar)= Ca(CH3COO)2 + H2SO4.
Gypsum + Vinegar=Calcium Acetate + Sulfuric Acid
