What are the procedures to be followed in the stabilization of the sub base layer?
There are 3 different types: Flyash, cement kiln dust, and lime. Each one has different applications. As list flyash takes most product, lime takes the least amount of product. Flyash and cement kiln dust will allow equipment on it later that day. Lime takes upto 5 days before allowing equipment on grade (except equipment needed for mixing and compaction of treated base).
