    • Ponding curing needs to be done under continuous supervision by professional labours.
    • Cold wind affects the ponding adversely.
    • After the curing process using ponding that the large about it needs to be disposed of the curing side.

    Disadvantages of polythene sheets:

    • Polythene sheets can be easily blown off and this is one of the most disadvantages of such type of curing process.
    • This does not windy weather.
    • Polythene sheets may cause discolouration.

    CORROSION refers to an electrochemical reaction between a metal and its environment. Steel will readily rust unless it is coated.     CORROSION refers to an electrochemical reaction between a metal and its environment. Steel will readily rust unless it is coated. Corrosion occurs when steel reacts with chloride ions (Cl-), CO2 in the presence of a toxic environment. Thus, corrosion is uneven erosion/pitting of metal surface due to intense rusting and is also harmful to the service performance of rebar.

    There are many ways of reducing the risk of corrosion-related distress in concrete. The first defencing layer is concrete, which should be thick and dense. Also, the cracks should be minimized. The concrete cover should be used appropriately.

    An additional measure for corrosion-resistant is that corrosion inhibiting admixtures should be used. Epoxy coatings should be done on rebar, which acts as a physical barrier and also isolates the steel from oxygen, moisture, and chloride ions (which are the three primary elements needed for corrosion to occur).

    In simple words, detailing of composed mint is necessary for the structural steel and also for 10 force concrete structures to attend strength and durability. The figure is attached with shows the joining details of beams and columns.

    The main parts of them should be cracked near the columns and the length. It is in the ratio of 1:4. Any other cases the beam re pass must not pass from the column rebars outer surface which comprises the concrete cover.

    Instead of detailing the above different detailings are the wind for rehabilitation and strengthening the damaged elements.

    Meaning of Reinforced soil: Reinforced soil is simply a combination of compacted earth fill with the tensile reinforcement for creating an earth structure. 


    Advantages of reinforced soil:

    1. Less quantity of earth fill is required.

    2. The construction can be directly done on the soft ground.

    3. The structures can be quickly built as compared to any other conventional methods.

     Limitations of reinforced soil:

    • One of the biggest doubts about reinforcing soil is its durability.

    Hi, To solve this query first you must have to know what is a composite structure and RCC structure.

    Composite structure building exists when the two different materials are bound together by any means in a very strong manner so that they can act as a single component give a structural point of view.

    Reinforced cement concrete buildings is a composite material but having low tensile strength and ductility which are encountered by the inclusion of reinforcement having higher tensile strength and ductility. Indian forced cement concrete structures reinforcement abound with cement concrete and both the members are really strong and compression and tension.

    So if I concluded for G+ 12 types of painting reinforced cement concrete structures is used because it has very high tensile and ductility property and gives a high resistance against competition and tension also.
