    • It is a new excellent grade refractory materials with a very high-temperature performance with strong corrosion resistance and high strength which is made up of chromium oxide and for corundum as a raw material which is mixed with some other additives.

    Chemical composition:

    Al2O3 —.   >92

    CaO.        <1.2

    SiO.          <1.0

    Fe2O3.     <0.3

    Cr2O7.     >3

    ZrO2.        >3

    Properties:

    Cold crushing strength >180 MPa

    porosity.        >15%

    Bulk density. > 3.25 g/cm^3

    Modulus of rupture. > 9.5 MPa

    Applications:

    1. It is fire-resistant properties
    2. Strength in the range between 70 to 100 MPa.
    3. High resistance against thermal shocks
    4. Resistance against slag erosion

    Sand can be replaced by Quarry dust without any problem.


    • Based on several references, I concluded that sand can be replaced by Quarry dust without highly compromising its durability property.
    • By the experimental investigation, 40% replacement of sand with Quarry dust shows maximum compressive strength and later on, it will decrease after increasing percentage of Quarry Dust in the sand.
    • Workability of concrete decreases as increasing the percentage of Quarry dust
    • Quarry dust is Waste. If we use quarry dust as a replacement of sand, then waste will ultimately reduce.

    Mechanism of rotating Tower:

    Mechanism of rotating Tower is very interesting to understand. 

    1)The whole steel structure is constructed with reference to Central Core and highly reinforced Foundation.


    2)Driving system- every flower in the rotating Tower can be rotated around the central Core which is connected by rails.


    3) Load cases: Different loads that are dead load life load wind load and earthquake loads are taken into account while designing the rotating Tower.


    4)Optimisation analysis: The stresses and deformation directly acting on the core of the rotating tower are very high.


    5)Alternative designs of the rotating tower:

    1. Alternative 1- Architects design
    2. Alternative 2- higher concrete grade
    3. Alternative 3- increased wall thickness
    4. Alternative 4- outrigger braced concrete Core
    5. Alternative 5- perimeter columns with Stiff floors

    6) Architect name:

    • RotatingTower is developed by the Italian architect David Fisher.

    7)  Shape of rotating Tower:

    • Because of the rotation of all floors can be possible independently, the building can transform into every different imaginable shape.

    8) Height of rotating Tower:

    • The original design of the rotating tower height is approximately 435 metre.

    9) Current need:

    • The current design of the stabilizing core of the rotating tower doesn’t intersect any essential need. Hence investigation of the structure according to the stiffness and strength is really very important parameter.

    10)Speciality of rotating Tower:

    • All the floors of the rotating tower can separately rotate with reference to the common axis located at the centre of the tower.
    • Rotating Tower is only one building in which it’s all floors can rotate 360-degree angle.
    • Every Apartment can spin individually in any direction

    Function of Arches :- The arches of the foot, formed by the tarsal and metatarsal bones, strengthened by ligaments and tendons, allow the foot to support the weight of the body in the erect posture with the least weight.

    In accordance to the latest revision of IS 1786(2008) Fe 500D is a new introduction of deformed steel bar that has same specified minimum 0.2 percent proof stress/yield stress but with enhanced specified minimum percentage elongation.

    The intensity of these processes depends largely on
    the ash fineness (particle size and particle size
    distribution) so that the pozzolanic reactivity increases
    with the specific surface of the ash. International standard
    ASTM C 311 describes the procedures of chemical and
    physical methods for characterization of fly ash, and
    standard ASTM C 618 provides chemical and physical
    criteria related to classification.

    all samples of ash that were for seven days exposed in a
    humid environment contains a substantial amount of
    amorphous glassy-matter, but also crystal phase of
    feldspar, melilite, mullite, very little anhydrite and
    quartz is present. In the specimens that were
    subjected for 28 days besides the already mentioned
    minerals a trace of calcite occurs in the sample;
