One of the low-cost construction methods is using gypsum panels called GFRG panels (Glass Fibre Reinforced Gypsum panels). This technology is widely used in Australia. In India, IIT Madras has been developing the design procedure for these panels. They can be built fast, just like precast panels. Using these panels, only load-bearing structures can be built. IIT Madras claims that it cuts down the cost by 20%, with the buildings having the same life expectancy as the conventional buildings.
However, this is true only if mass construction is made. For a single residential building, the gypsum panels may prove to be uneconomical.

Bitumen road is the most deceiving structure. It has a low initial cost, but the maintenance cost that follows is very high. Sometimes, these maintenance costs would override the costs of a concrete paver.
Potholes are not created overnight. It is a slow process. It occurs due to the water present below the soil, which forms holes below the pavement, due to the continuous flow of traffic, the pavement breaks. This situation is aggravated when the traffic flow continues. This movement will pump out the underlying soil and the bitumen outside, causing a hole.

The potholes can be repaired in two ways – Semi-permanent and Permanent.
Answering the question, The reason why the potholes keep occurring, again and again, is because of going for semi-permanent methods to repair them. Switching to permanent methods will solve the problem of accidents.
This includes cleaning the pothole thoroughly and removing the surrounding bitumen. Then another new layer of pavement is laid from scratch. This will prevent them from occurring again in the same place. Potholes can be avoided completely if the subsoil studies are intensified.

We can reduce the emission of gases in the construction industry by applying the following steps;
1- By implementing smart and efficient materials which are more durable and cheap. Also, it causes less pollution while they are manufacturing in the factory.
2- Eliminating material waste on the design stage could decrease the emission of gases by 18% in the atmosphere.
3- Finding alternative material to the cement and steel in the construction industry for the construction of buildings and other structures because only cement contributes 32% of all the emissions in the world from material consumption.
4- Giving subsidies and tax-exemption for those eco-friendly buildings which are environment-friendly and sustainable use materials like bamboo are used.
5- Reusing building material and waste in a creative way to build new houses and flats is a step which also helps in the reduction of global gases.

there are different types of plaster. Some are given below:
Sand faced plaster is actually a mixture of cement sand mortar which is applied over brickwork and also works as a damp-proof coat over masonry.
This type of plaster is used to give a finishing touch to a surface let’s say to walls and ceilings. To some extent, it also serves as a sound and thermal insulation material.
It adds a decorative touch to buildings and also provides a sustainable base for the paint colors.
how to apply it
The first coat of the sand-surfaced cement plaster is applied in 1:4 cement mortar ratios with coarse sand. The plastering is left for seven days and then a second coat is applied in a 1:3 cement plaster ratio on the first coat. In the second coating, a sponge is applied on its wet surface and it should be well-watered for at least 15 days.
