    But a tie beam can help in reducing the foundation width in one direction as this beam will help to prevent overturning in one direction (if the columns are not joined by plinth beams towards wall boundaries). Another benefit of a tie beam is the extra strength provided in case of impact by a vehicle to the columns.

Strength wise the arch is far superior and only compresses more the greater the loading, compared with a lintel that has limitations to what it will hold before failing due to compression.

    Having said that most lintels carry very little weight anyway as it is spread out through the interlocking of stone, block, or brick and the only weight it actually carries can be measured by drawing a line at 45° from each end of the lintel until they cross in the centre above it and what its actual loading is. Beyond that, the wall supports its own weight and that above it providing something supports the interlocking material and how the Victorians managed to support mass weight purely on timber lintels only 3 inches thick. With lintels, span becomes an issue very quickly much less so with an arch

    Plastering deductions as per IS code 1200. For opening of size 0.5 m2 to 3 m2 area, deduction is made on one face of the wall. For openings of size above 3 m2, deduction is made on both faces of the wall, but the area of sill, jamb and soffits of the opening is added.

    1. it has highly precise the laser technology with including closed-loop control technology and a hydraulic system under automatic control and gives accurate construction.
    2. The levelling head is equipped with a design integrated scrapper, flat plate with a vibrator, why should we use precisely accurate measurements.

    Built-up area and super built-up area is generally used in real-estate. It is used to calculate the cost of property per square feet or square meter.

    The built-up area is the carpet area plus the thickness of the outer walls and the balcony. The Super built-up area is the built-up area plus a proportionate area of common areas such as the lobby, lifts shaft, stairs, etc. Sometimes it may also include the common areas such, swimming pool, garden, clubhouse, etc.

    The carpet area is the covered area of the usable spaces of rooms in the building. It is measured between walls to walls within the building and is the sum of the actual areas of the rooms where you can carpet.

    Now, when the total cost of construction of a building including the cost of land or plot, is lets say, USD 10,000 and its carpet area is 1000 sqft, built-up area is 1250 sqft and super built-up area is 1500 sqft, then the cost of the building per square feet can be calculated as:

    Cost per sqft of carpet area = USD 100,000/1000 = USD 100

    Cost per sqft of built-up area = USD 100,000/1250 = USD 80

    Cost per sqft of super built-up area = USD 100,000/1250 = USD 66.67

    In this way, you can arrive at the actual cost of construction per square feet including the cost of land or plot. This can also be used to calculate the selling cost of the property.

    Generally, the action of having various changes in different seasons on the stone which are drying and wetting of stone which gradually forms the crack in stones which leads to the action of weathering action and forms inorganic small size materials is called seasoning of stone.

    Seasoning refers to both drying and wetting cycles on one hand, and airing of stone, on the other hand. Dehydration during seasoning is more or less an irreversible process. Thus seasoning applied mainly to soft limestone; hard limestone seems to less affected by it. Stones have natural moisture, known as quarry sap. This quarry sap renders the stone blocks comparatively soft and makes them easy for working. Immediately after quarrying, a stone is soft and is easy to work with it so sized and primarily dressed, but polishing requires a fully seasoned and hardened stone.
