    Sir,

All the collected data is very useful for the properties of soil gradation, density, bearing capacity, shrink and swell potential, lateral earth pressure and groundwater condition.

Dry density is used to determine the appropriate structural design for the pool shell.

Most critical soil property is swell potential which is highly influencing factor for structural design.

It’s also caused if the clay used for making bricks contain Pyrite and the water used for pugging the clay contain gypsum.

Vinegar (acetic acid) solution with water can be used for cleaning of efflorescence in the masonry wall. It’s less harmful and most likely already used in every household & economical.

    CaSO4(gypsum) + 2CH3COOH (vinegar)= Ca(CH3COO)2 + H2SO4.
    Gypsum + Vinegar=Calcium Acetate + Sulfuric Acid

The usual sizes of tiles available in the market are 20*20 cm, 20*10 cm, 15*15 cm. The thickness of these tiles are 15mm and 20 mm. But nowadays large size of tiles are preferred over small tiles. Thankyou.

They are called Compressed Stabilized Earth Block. They are much better than your regular clay bricks and more durable than hollow blocks as long as they are manufactured under strict quality control.

Basically sill is known as the horizontal bed of the mortar which is usually as wide as the wall provided below windows or other openings. Therefore sill supports the windows. And lintel is made up of reinforced concrete or cement mortar .Therefore lintel support the wall above the openings.
